We want to carry out an innovation sprint for children and young people. The sprint will last for two days and there is room for 100 children and young people. The goal is to develop solutions for elderly care from their perspective.
We offer children on school leave a meaningful activity and get to learn about innovation, while we gain new and in many cases untapped perspectives, build relationships across age limits and create positive experiences of innovation, care and nursing.
We use the same basic model for our innovation sprints as many of the most innovative companies in the world. The methods are updated to work effectively also in health and care. It is about understanding the needs, and being open and creative about ideas and solutions. Therefore, it is very interesting to invite children and young people, who have not yet learned to "think right", because we hope and believe that they will come up with new ideas and unexpected solutions.
