What?
Sensors for registering electricity and water consumption are installed in the customer's home. The data generated can be used to draw attention to deviant behaviors.
Why?
Security is, for example, the knowledge that you or your relative will get help if something happens. By increasing the security of the home, more people can stay in an environment that they know and thrive in and the move to a care home can wait.
A common way to create security is to equip older people with security alarms, but these are not always enough. If the accident occurs, it may happen that the person due to injury can not alarm even though he is equipped with security alarms.
How?
In a potential collaboration with Helsingborgshem and the city's property management, sensors are installed in the customer's home to register electricity and water consumption. The data generated can be used to draw attention to deviant behaviors.
Examples of what collected data may indicate:
- An unusually small consumption of water during the morning hours could mean that the person has not gotten out of bed.
- An unusually large water consumption could mean that the person has fallen in the shower and cannot get up again and turn off the water.
