Healthcare has always been innovative. We know that it is those who work in our operations who have the best solutions and that everyone who wants to can train their ability to think more innovatively.



To make innovation a natural part of the work for all employees, we carry out innovation sprints several times each year. During an innovation sprint, we gather in teams and work for one and a half days to develop innovative solutions to problems that we encounter in the operations. These are real problems that are important to solve, and can be anything from how to avoid fall accidents in the home to smart solutions to facilitate good hand hygiene.


During the innovation sprints, the participants get to learn about simple tools and approaches to working innovatively in a care environment. The goal is to create an organization with better knowledge and greater self-confidence in creative problem solving in order to be better equipped to meet future challenges. The innovation sprints result in ideas and innovative solutions, but it is equally important that we train together on how innovation can take place in the operations.
