The City of Helsingborg is pursuing an innovation strategy to create a smarter and more sustainable city with a high quality of life for our residents. To achieve this vision, managers and leaders in the public sector must have the ability to work innovatively with their teams.
In the autumn of 2020, the E-learning project for innovative power started in collaboration with Uppsala Municipality and with funding from Vinnova. The purpose of the project is to strengthen the innovative power in the municipality with the support of digital learning for managers and leaders.
It is the leaders who need to give a mandate and inspiration for innovation work and make the decisions required for real change. But being a leader in the public sector is challenging and being able to work in new ways and make decisions that support innovation requires knowledge and experience of innovation.
Our goal is to support leaders in this journey so that all parts of the city of Helsingborg can work in more innovative ways.
We want to explore and develop concepts for how we can train leaders in an innovative way to drive and promote innovation. This will be done by developing effective, inspiring and scalable digital learning for innovation management. The purpose is for our businesses to be able to create greater value for our residents through their ability to innovate.
That is why we work together with others in the municipality and with experts in innovation and learning. We create and test our insights, ideas and solutions with leaders and experts to understand early on how it works in practice.
