What?

At Habiteum - Helsingborg's workshop for quality of life - residents, people from the municipality and the business community receive support to move forward in their sustainability work. Habiteum is both a process and a place. Here, the focus is on the major challenges of the environment and public health, which require innovation, new ways of working and methods.

Why?

In order for us to achieve a sustainable quality of life for all of us in Helsingborg, we must move from words to action. At Habiteum, residents, people from municipalities and businesses as well as associations co-create and make workshops of the UN's global sustainability goals.

How?

Over the past year, the co-creators have developed various workshops and activities, both indoors and outdoors. By being able to test ideas and develop new ways of working, thresholds are lowered and new opportunities are opened up. The warm welcoming atmosphere creates new perspectives. After a renovation of the house, the rooms are now filled with everything from recycled old furniture to technology. At Habiteum, there are premises and the outdoor environment as well as equipment for workshops on various themes, such as food, recycling and water. By doing so, the discussion becomes simpler and on equal terms. Nature plays an important role, for health and for understanding the larger contexts. By using our senses, we gain new insights and become creative.

At Habiteum you can:
- test processes and ideas with room for playfulness
- arrange workshops / workshops with the theme of food, recycling or water
- have creative meetings in inspiring indoor and outdoor environments
- get competence development in environment and health.

Impact target
