What?

We want to investigate, test and evaluate a planning model that involves initially creating a meeting place in co-creation with those working at Gåsebäck. The meeting place will be the engine for the urban transformation process for Gåsebäck.

Why?

With a common power and vision for Gåsebäck and through an organic way of working and co-creation processes, the opportunity is given to develop the Fire Station into a long-awaited, multifaceted and creative meeting place and experience destination.

The fire station is the engine for the city transformation and enriches the supply in, and the flow of visitors to, the southern parts of the city - in the long run a safer and more attractive Söder and Gåsebäck.

How?

The city leases the Fire Station for a number of years to rent premises for activities such as food markets, rehearsal rooms, studios, printing, clothing designers, artists and the like. A number of events and collaborations put the area on the map and create curiosity for the place and Gåsebäck. The fire station will carry itself through the co-creation of those who operate at Gåsebäck.

Impact target

We want to investigate, test and evaluate a planning model that involves initially creating a meeting place in co-creation with those working at Gåsebäck.
