The new generations of older people have different expectations of the city compared to before. They are more well-educated, resourceful and individualistic compared to previous generations. Many people want to live an active life well into old age and this places increasing demands on services linked to this. It is also about increased opportunities for individual choices around, for example, digital solutions, housing, mobility and leisure. How can we meet this development? Which smart housing solutions contribute to increased security and increased quality of life?
